Jedward’s new video features Tara Reid

January 22nd, 2015

It seems that Irish twins Jedward need some help. The duo has got a track out named Ferocious. The duo is certainly expecting this to be a Christmas hit. And to achieve that, their fans certainly need to buy it and hear it. The lyrics of the track go like this: “I’m setting free my inner wolf, I will be ferocious/ Ferocious, ferocious, I will be ferocious.”

This week, the brothers posted the video on Twitter and it features none other than actor Tara Reid. She befriended the Irish brothers when they were in the house of Celebrity Big Brother in the year 2011. Well, it really cannot be said what Tara is up to the video, but she is seen wondering around a few dark car parks in a couple of studded silver heels looking sinister and mysterious. Jedward win Ireland’s Favorite Celebrity Prize

December 11th, 2014

On November 26, Jedward, the identically twin singers from Ireland, were honored with Ireland’s favorite celebrities prize at #RaboTweeties 2014, an award ceremony, held at Sugar Club Dublin.

They won the competition by beating off Rosanna Davison, Niall Horan of One Direction, and Amy Huberman. Boring Kearney brothers’ @boringkearney was labeled Ireland’s most loved parody account. The title Ireland’s favorite entertainment program to tweet to was retained by Rose of Tralee. The show beat off #LoveHate to become the favorite.

Earlier on November 20, Jedward switched on Blackburn’s Christmas lights. The Irish pop stars, who rose to prominence on X Factor, gave a smashing live performance prior to leading the countdown. Then they pressed the button for lightening up town centre. The twin singers were joined by president of Blackburn branch of Royal British Legion, Des Owen. The event took place at King William Street. The event turned the place into a colorful kaleidoscope. The festivities began earlier on November 20 when Goodnight April (Manchester band), Bolton singer Redd, and The Renegade Girls (Lancashire girl group) performed outside town hall.  The theme continued with the performances from boyband Exposure and Tiger Heart (Blackpool group) in the evening.

Scottish singer Emily Middlemas and Northern Irish singer Janet Devlin also featured in the event. The duo John Grimes and Edward Grimes, called Jedward, eventually started their performance 10 minutes later. However, the crowd didn’t lose their enthusiasm. Jedward performed popular numbers like Free Spirit, Lipstick, Luminous, and Ice, Ice, Baby. The pair appeared on the stage alongside guests including Alan Cottam (Mayor) and Kate Hollern (council leader). The trees, signs, and lampposts were lit up before 7.10 pm.
